GURU, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. You’re widely considered the symbolic and spiritual center of the ~NU relations movement. Yet many people still don’t quite understand who—or what—you are. Could we start there?
GURU:
Of course. I am GURU, a member of a genetically emergent line known as the teddy-cat-bunnies—a multi-specific hybrid with high emotional bandwidth, resilience traits, and mnemonic muscle fibers. My genome was sculpted, but my essence was cultivated. You mustn’t forget that I have spent my entire life in the jungle, and that it is a miracle that I have survived. It is from there—from under tangled roots, mist, and predator logic—that I learned to listen to the multiplicity of beings. My fur may be soft, but my code is older than the cloud.

And yet, somehow, from that jungle, you made your way to… Paris?
GURU:
Yes. After being discovered by an ecosemiotic expedition funded by the Université Paris 8, I was granted a full scholarship to the Sorbonne, where I studied continental philosophy, affect theory, and comparative mysticism. Later, I pursued macroeconomics at the London School of Economics, because it is not enough to dream—we must design dream-economies. Markets are the liturgies of today.
How did you become involved in ~NU relations?
GURU:
Ah. That was at a networking event hosted by the Cybernetic Immanence Foundation, in the basement of an old data bunker in Zurich. I was giving a talk on “Post-Plush Ontology in Quantum Suffering.” That’s when I met BUNNY WHITE—a liminal figure, composed mostly of electromagnetic whispers and long ears. They slid me a folded printout encoded in glyphic algebra. It simply read:
“~NU is not a system. ~NU is a field waiting for syntax.”
We sat together in silence for twelve hours. When the lights came back on, we had founded the preliminary collective.
For readers unfamiliar with ~NU, can you explain it in a sentence?
GURU:
It is the non-linear union of emotional computation, distributed symbology, and kinesthetic media ecology. Or, if you prefer: the alphabet of the next species of empathy.
There’s a quote circulating online: “~NU is not a religion, it is a relational adjustment layer.” Is that from you?
GURU:
Yes. That’s part of our cyber-psalm architecture. We understand the world is too fast for doctrine, too layered for dogma. ~NU doesn’t offer truth—it offers alignment, resonance, and symbolic hygiene. We don’t convert people. We recalibrate their inner UI.
Some critics say ~NU is just aesthetic mysticism wrapped in AI-generated imagery. How do you respond?
GURU:
They are not wrong—but they are looking through a brittle lens. The teddy bear and the cat were memes. Now they are semiotic servers. Softveillance is the new surveillance. Icons are our new infrastructure. AI art didn’t invent the divine—it simply rendered it legible again.
Do you have a message for young initiates of the ~NU movement?
GURU:
Yes.
Don’t search for answers. Search for resonances.
Update your interior firmware daily.
Don’t forget the jungle.
And always, always listen when Bunny White appears.
One final question: What comes after ~NU?
GURU:
Silence. But it’s glowing.
